Ok, I've been itching to air my useless opinion here for some time, but I'm real busy nowsaday. So, a quick one - I just finished the Ratatouille review on me blog.
What I like (as in favourites-I like classical and movie soundtracks in general):
-The Star Wars Soundtracks (especially Empire and Return -5 & 6)
-LOTR (esp. Return of King, the hobbit theme and Rohan theme)
-HP (esp. Fawkes theme and the main theme)
-Guilty Gear XX music (anime-game thingus, dunno if you know, but this is surprisingly not classical music yet I like it.)
-The Phantom of the Opera. Yes, I'm ancient.
-Sang Nila Utama and the 6/12 Song (I wrote it...)
-the mundane NDP songs AFTER they've been remastered, retouched and rewritten...by me!
-Assorted anime themes (Inuyasha, etc.)
-Other random things.
Ok, really predictable. I mean, yeah, I already like SW, LOTR and HP, duuuuh. So, equally predictably, I detest stupid Chinese pop and R&B and stuff like that in general. I make a few exceptions though. However, here are several things you do NOT want to play to me for fear of incurring my eternal wrath:
-The Girlfriend Song
-Anything by Britney/Lindsay Lohan/Hilton/J. Timberlake
-Show Luo's inane rubbish
-Any song with swearing or anything taboo
-Irritating loud heavy metal
-The Barbie Girl Song. (A pox on your firstborn if you play that within my hearing!!!)
-I'll probably think of some more later.
There you are. By 2020, I should have my imeem list up. But by then, we'll be 26. Lalala.
